I gave this as a gift to a friend. She has not been able to figure out how to turn it on. It did not come with any instructions.

I use this with my cameras when I'm working at night. It lets me have both hands free to to sort out the many buttons. Its light weight and low light output are ideal for these situations.

This lamp is very small and light, but a bit dim. It also uses more expensive "button batteries". If being super light is important to you, this may be a good choice.
I'm willing to carry a few more ounces and get a brighter beam, longer battery life and more common AAA batteries with this Tikka Petzl E47 PS Tikka Plus Four-LED Headlamp, Soft

Bush Mom
The battery doesn't have a long life and I can't get replacement batteries shipped to me because of my unique location in bush alaska. But for occasional use it's a good light for the price.

My son took this camping and informed me that it was great for reading in the tent, the little light can be angled on the head strap to point in different directions. He also informed me that it was NOT ENOUGH LIGHT for walking in the woods in the dark, one LED is apparently not bright enough to illuminate a far enough distance and he informed me he wants a brighter flashlight next time.
