Product Description Comtempra Trio, 42", Brushed Nickel, 5 Reversible Blade Ceiling Fan, Includes 3 Light Fixture With Frosted Glass Shades, Hugger Style Mount, Uses Up To 60W Candelabra Base Bulbs, Not Included.
Amazon.com Product Description The Westinghouse Contempra Trio fan is one of Westinghouse's "Hugger" series of fans, which are specially designed for rooms with low ceilings, as these fans do not hang down from the ceiling as far as ordinary fans do.The Contempra Trio is a 42-inch, five-blade ceiling fan. The blades are reversible, and are rosewood on one side with bird's eye maple on the other. Both match nicely with the fan's brushed nickel finish. The fan includes a three-light lighting kit with the three lights creating a triangular pattern beneath the center of the fan and providing welcome light when necessary; the globes are frosted glass. 42-inch fans are best suited for medium-sized rooms such as recreation rooms, living rooms, or a children's bedroom but can be used for larger rooms. The fan is covered with a 25 year limited warranty.--Jeffrey Dalto What's in the Box Fan, lighting kit with three globes

Nosiy, No air flow and Manufacturer will not take any responsibility!
I sent it to them - they find nothing wrong!
I have similar experiance with other Westinghouse products.
They make GARBAGE!
DON'T BUY.
Perfect October 1, 2009 Joe (Kansas) I bought two of these fans. They both work great and were easy to install. I would definitely recommend this product. I got mine for $39.99 each. Great deal for the price.
This fan is great September 8, 2009 Marilyn Patterson (NJ) We ordered three of these for bedrooms in a house we are readying for sale and although they were shipped separately none were broken. They were easy to install and they look great (with the dark side down). I was nervous from reading other reviews regarding receiving broken fixtures and the noise volume but none of this occured for us. They are pretty, quiet and easy to install.
Nice, Quite Fan September 2, 2009 RebelRaider (WV) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just installed this fan and I must say if you are REPLACING a 36" fan with a down-rod type (the fan hangs down from a rod) this 42" hugger fan may look smaller than it, untill you get use to it. It took me three days of in and out of my daughters bedroom to finally start seeing a difference. The 36" fan I replaced was white with white blades and she wanted this fan to have the darker side blades down so that to me also makes this fan to look smaller. It puts out more air than the smaller 36" but not a whole lot more, I personally would return the fan and get a down-rod type 42" or 52" but my wife and daughter both love it so it will stay up. As with most other reviews my fan arrived very fast but with a broken glass light fixture, I am contacting amazon today for a new one. This fan was very easy to install but I am a licensed electrician and have installed quite a few fans before, one feature I like very much is when you put the light fixtures on it does not have the three little screws that most fans have to hold the glass fixture on, but instead it has a small ring that screws the fixture on that hold them much better. All in all a nice fan and well worth the money.
Looks great w/plenty of light August 16, 2009 MondaysChild (New Jersey) We just installed 3 of these fans in our house. I was worried about the quality of a $40 fan. My electrician convinced me that I could always swap out the fan down the road and to give it a try. Well-all three are great. He had the three installed in a few hours. No wobble, very quiet, and very bright. We were surprised how stylish they were for the price. Most of the neg reviews were because of the bulbs. I don't mind the small bulbs. They look nice. I feel it is a great deal on a great fan!
