In a word: Disappointing October 16, 2009 A. Thompson In theory, liquid-filled heaters are better than other styles, and the Delonghi oil-filled electric radiator space heater I purchased 7 or 8 years ago performed incredibly well under constant and intense use until recently, when the oil started leaking a tiny bit from various hairline cracks in the metal. I purchased a new model Delonghi which, much to my consternation, was a piece of junk unlike its stalwart predecessor, and so I tried this QMARK/Fahrenheat PHH15002. This unit generates _no_ discernible heat on the 'low' setting (truly - you can actually touch the element itself and feel that it is barely lukewarm), and very little on 'high'. People are fond of saying 'watts are watts' and therefore any heaters with equivalent draw are "the same" but clearly there's more to it than that: my old Delonghi at 1500 watts got very hot to the touch and warmed a 200 sf room with no problem, whereas the also 1500 watt PHH15002 barely scores as tepid, and could not heat a closet if its sorry little metal life depended on it.
works great October 6, 2009 S. Schloss (California) I own this heater and am online to buy another. Can't comment about shipping problems, but the heater has worked great for 2 years. Someone commented that you have to unplug to turn it off--not so. Simply rotate thermostat to left until it stops, as described in the operating instructions.
Works great July 22, 2009 Rodney Shawn Kestle I like the product. I have purcahsed and used the same design and brand in the past. Sold the old unit with a home. The only bad experience was poor packaging which lead to scratches on the unit. Since I am not using it as a show piece, I was OK with a few scratches.

Item is okay although it did arrive with a piece of the leg broken. I am surprised that there is no on and off switch...just a switch for 750 or 1500 watts and a temperature control. You have to turn it off by plugging and unplugging. Otherwise, it does work. Fahrenheat Electric 1500 Watt Portable, Liquid-Filled Baseboard Heater, Model# PHH15002
So far so good. January 11, 2009 Herman Glimpshire (Kentuchy, USA) Bought unit at Lowes and have had no trouble with it. I have had trouble with other brands (Honeywell). I use it in my bedroom and plan to intall them in other rooms. I do not mind paying a little more for their unit because it is made in America.
