Product Description Pioneering in technology the Trekker pen can hang upside down forever yet function immediately when needed. Always have a reliable pen available for immediate use. Attach your keys to the Trekker pen. The Trekker Space Pen with a key chain attached to the posi-lock cap allows for easy accessibility. The Trekker space pen comes with a carabiner and a break-away lanyard, making it easily attachable to a belt loop, back pack, purse, climbing gear, briefcase or anything else that is within your reach. The Trekker can be carried in a variety of ways and is guaranteed to work in virtually any climate. Unlike other key chain pens which rely on gravity for ink flow, the sealed, pressurized cartridge in the Trekker ensures that ink will always be at the ballpoint and ready to write. The Trekker also features Fisher's rubber Comfort Grip on the barrel for writing ease. Contains a Fisher PR4 pressurized refill with medium point and black ink.

Not the best in space October 28, 2009 L. P. Secero Kinda disappointed in this Space Pen.
I own several space pens and got this one for what I thought would be good functionality.
Big Problem----NO CAP Storage.
You must carabiner this or lanyard it to you to keep the cap handy
or put it down when writing and hope it doesn't roll away.
I quickly went back to my Bullet Space Pen.
This one collects dust in my car for dire needs only.
Plastic end breaks easily July 16, 2009 Alan Edwards (Miami, FL United States) This pen has a plastic end that snaps off if you carry it in your pocket (the whole idea for pens like these).
As a result, it's dead in the water.
Bitterly Disappointed October 19, 2008 Matteo 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've been a space pen user for >30 years. The standard model's cap fits nicely over the back of the barrel thereby elongating the pen into a "normal" pen size. The trekker will not do that. So try writing with it. Unless you have a hand the size of a 5-year old it's like writing with a stub, very uncomfortable, pretty darn useless unless you're just jotting down a word or two, maybe a phone number. You just can't use it as a pen. Bummer.
Not likely to lose this pen October 7, 2008 Daniel Paul Long (Austin, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a volunteer EMT and like to carry a small pen with me to fill out reports and take notes. I used to carry a Lamy Pico 287 Ballpoint Pen with me, but after losing three of them while on calls, I decided I needed a pen that was somehow attached to me. This one fits the bill. I keep it attached to the pager case on my belt. It also comes in handy when I go grocery shopping. My one complaint, though, is that I have noticed ink blobs at the tip a few times. Not a big deal, but be careful.
All around great pen... July 29, 2008 Jeffrey W. Cope (NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I carry a small composition notebook with me at all times along with my journal and planner and this pen comes in handy to write in any of them or sketch in my journal, whatever the case maybe. Also, as a soldier and adventurous outdoors person I spend a lot time in places and weather that normal pens wouldn't think of writing in and this one seems up to the task.
I think it's a little pricey however; it is a great writing utensil.
