Product Description
Zurn uses the Silane Method for Pex Tubing production because it allows the addition of products that increase chemical resistance and produce a superior life expectancy without interfering with the materials ability to cross link (as in other methods). Because the Silane Method relies on a chemical mixture and not high temperature and pressure to cause the material to cross link, the dimensional stability is much more consistant as well.
