Replaced a set of GE cordless DECT phones with these and these are a definite upgrade. They are clear range is sufficient and the answering function is easy to use. They are also smart enough to know when to dial "1" before long distance numbers. Not sure how, but it works well. I can recommend these phones.

I like the idea that I can add more handsets later. I wish I could relabel each handset with the name of where it resides to make paging between sets easier. Other than the earpiece volume needing another notch louder, these phones are working well and don't interfere with the wireless devices in our house.
Great Phones with Fantastic Range November 15, 2009

Purchased these phones in hopes of extending the range over our Uniden set. Read that these phones received a very favorable rating from CR. These phones easily surpass any previous phones we have owned. Handset is light, easy to use and has given great clarity. Answering machine is easy to program and setup. Well worth retiring the previous set. I highly recommend these phones.
