Good Output Flimsey battery pack November 20, 2009 Jack Kidd Nice strong light, but whe I first loaded the batteries it wouldn't come on with out shaking it. I then pulled on the springs so the batteries would fit tighter and taped the batteries in so they wouldn't fall out. I'll keep it, but wouldn't buy another one
Technicalities October 20, 2009 Slo-Hand What you may not know about these high LED count lights and should know is without a lower power(LED) option and the Big Kahuna 95 LED flashlight also qualifies is you are going to run into trouble in colder climates and conditions. These lights will not operate below 40 degrees F because the batteries can not supply enough power to light all of the LED's. It's the all or nothing approach that produces this weakness. If however you plan to use the flashlight in warmer conditions; I
would recommend 50 degrees F and reasonably above, you'll be perfectly fine. You'll get a very bright light that will last a very long time. Please do not put these lights in your car in winter because even with new batteries they will not work unless you're in the tropics or some similar climate.
Does not work! August 1, 2009 E. Thoman (Gaithersburg, MD USA) Garbage. The whole thing is just lousy and the switch is defective so it doesn't even work at all. DOES NOT WORK! Garbage.
Doesn't Work May 22, 2009 James Biggerstaff MD (Orange Park, FL United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Extremely poor construction. The batteries just flop around inside and no light. I think there must be a part missing. The Big Kahuna is solidly made with a fantastic light. This is a piece of trash!
100 LED Aluminum Flashlight (Silver/Black) March 19, 2009 Sam G. Mubara (California, USA) A great flashlight. Extremely powerful. Uses 4 AA batteries and delivers more light than any other flashlights excetpt for a Helicopter Police lighting.
