Product Description Frog Tape® is the only patented crepe masking tape with Paintblock® Technology. When latex paint comes into contact with the edges of Frog Tape, the Paintblock Technology creates a micro barrier along the edges of the tape. This barrier helps prevent paint from bleeding under Frog Tape, leaving you with crisp clean lines!

Frog Tape November 16, 2009 David L. Benner (Inver Grove Heights, MN United States) The Frog Tape is by far superior to the blue stuff. It is not effective when using on textured surfaces as stated.
way better than the blue crap June 26, 2009 Discerning Shopper (Chicago, IL) Goes on easier, comes off easier and leave a better line (no bleeding). Home Depot used to carry it and now they don't.
A good masking tape May 4, 2009 A. Zborowski (USA) The tape is good as I expected. No paint leak. You just have to apply it properly - press the edge slightly.
Far superior to "blue tape" April 8, 2009 jdv (CA, USA) I have used this tape several times now in place of the regular blue masking tape and I can definitely say that it is far superior from the point of view of bleeding through. It may be more expensive but I would rather have a good job than put up with the unsitely mess when you peel off the blue kind.
Frog Tape-Not worth it March 29, 2009 Mr. Steve N. Mykoliw (Lanoka Harbor, NJ USA) Not worth the money. If the area you are taping is not perfectly flat or smooth, paint will bleed through. I bought the 1, 1.5 and 2 inch tape for the re-painting of my dining room. I taped the chair rail and bottom molding. I also used it to tape off the ceiling as well, I like clean lines. Well, this worked no better than the blue stuff. I used a good ammount of pressure on laying down the tape as it suggests, and certain sections just bled through, this may have been areas that were not perfectly smooth, but not visible to the naked eye. Save your money and use the blue tape, no discernable difference.
