I was under the impression that cordless mean's battery operated, WRONG, you heat it for 5 min's in the stand and use it as fast as you can, Should have gotten the Fiskars one.

The hot glue guns that detach from the cord are hard to find. I don't know why. THEY ARE THE BEST. And, this is a good one.

Great Glue Gun...I would recommend this to anyone. The only downside...and I mean only downside is that the battery wears out (go figure)...Great value!

I just started using this glue gun and I had a couple of problems. They are not major enough to NOT purchase this gun, just annoyances, and quite probably an issue with all glue guns. I have only used one other glue gun purchased at a craft store and thought if I got a new one, it would resolve some of the problems I had with that one.
One problem seems to be with all glue guns - the long strings left that look like spider webs. The other issues are: When I put my cordless gun into the holder, it doesn't go in easily so sometimes it isn't charging when you think it is. Not a major problem, just annoying. Also, the opening where the glue comes out is too big. I wish they would give different nozzels to restrict the flow of the glue. The glue also comes out very fast, which causes problems for detail work, small items. It doesn't seem to stay hot for very long either. You have to hurry and get those 'to be glued' items together fast or you have to add more glue.
Overall, it works as described, and I'm just letting people know the little problems that I would have liked to know before purchasing this item.
