 Hard of Hearing? TRY THIS PHONE November 19, 2009

I purchased a Telephone Model KX-TG6431 from Amazon. The Panasonic saleslady assured me it would work for my wife who, in spite of our spending nearly $10,000.00 so that she could hear better (especially on the phone), still had serious problems with the phones.
I don't imagine that you could understand just how THRILLED I was when she used the DECT 6.0 phone for first time and she was able to HEAR EVERY WORD and the other party sounded as if they were in the room speaking to her.

THANK YOU! To the Engineers at Panasonic who did a superior job on the audio.
I would give this phone 10 stars if I could because this is the best of the best.
Even her VERY expensive phone "designed for the hard of hearing" can't hold a candle to this phone.

i always liked panasonic products, and this phone is no exception - great sound, interference-free, and an easy-to-use digital answering machine. i bought this item for $22 dollars, and consider that a great deal! buy this phone and you'll be glad you did!

Pretty happy with it. Haven't really had it long enough to use all the features. I did not find it difficult to figure out how to use as some other reviewers reported. I do not like that the computer voice is male (not sure why, perhaps his particular voice). The Spanish voice is female so I am using that. Good way to practice a wee bit of Espanol. The recordings could be more clear, but not ridiculously difficult to hear. Finally, I do not prefer any of the ring tones. Too robotic and mechanical, or too high pitched.

One of the best cordless phone I've ever owned. Easy to operate, sound quality is great. Battery life is great, can't say enough good about this phone.

The phone is fairly easy to use but the features functions are not intuitive and difficult even after reading the manual, at least for me.
The sound quality, even on the Speakerphone function, is excellent or so the parties I am speaking to over it have told me.
Overall I would recommend this unit but don't expect it to be a Swiss Army Knife or maybe you should expect it to be a Swiss Army knife if you ever tried to use their scissors.
