These batteries are great. Because they come from Amazon.com. I ordered a pair a year ago from Sears, and the batteries could not hold a charge - they were obviously on the Sears shelves too long. So, for quality assurance, order from Amazon.

These seem to deliver even more power to their supported drills and saws than my much bigger batteries do to theirs. They last longer (both per charge, and total life) than others.
I am very happy with all my B&D products!

the original batteries evidently had been on the shelf too long, and didn't last as long as i thought they should have. anyway these new batteries have been very nice to work with, they even seem to have more power than the old ones did. the shipping took a little longer than we thought but we were in no hurry. thank you very much for a fine product.d.r.t.
