Amazon.com Product Description Changing paint colors and cleaning up paint jobs need no longer be time-consuming, messy chores. Roll-N-Go, the latest innovation in Power Rollers saves time and allows do-it-yourselfers to achieve professional-quality coverage by feeding paint straight from the can to the wall, eliminating the need to dip the roller into the paint tray. Great for painting in rooms without electrical outlets, the Roll N Go operates on 4 "C" batteries. The unit paints up to 5 average sized rooms on a set of four "C" batteries (not included). The base fits around or square one-gallon cans. A 12-foot hose allows painting in an extended work area without moving the paint can. The unit's easy-grip lightweight ergonomic handle ensures optimal comfort on extended jobs. Best of all, the painter is totally portable for working room to room indoors, and for outdoor reaching up high outdoors. A disposable Lock N Go Hose and pump system ensures rapid, mess-free color changes. --Brian D. OlsonWhat's in the Box Disposable or washable hose, pump and roller

don't buy this product January 19, 2009 sassy n gassy (baltimore, md) I used to have the power roller and I loved it so, when it died after many years, I bought this roll n go. It took 90 minutes - yes 90 minutes for the paint to get to the roller and another 30 for the roller to saturate. In that time my daughter completed two other walls with a brush and a manual roller! Once it's there, it probably is ok but plan ahead if you plan to paint and use this item to do it.
A huge waste of money. December 27, 2008 Kelly A. Sammons (Conroe, Texas) First of all, let me just say .... I'm not a moron. I know how to read and I read the instructions and followed them to a tee. (I'm a woman) This is the biggest piece of junk and a huge waste of time. After "painting" for two hours I only managed to get a 2x2 foot section of wall painted and even then .... it needs a second coat. I had my husband look it over to see if maybe I put it together wrong. We re-did the whole thing and even then it just wouldn't put out enough paint to be useful. I tried changing the batteries twice ... Duracell and Energizer. No luck. I'll be cleaning it out and taking it back tomorrow. This piece of junk makes me question every product that Wagner puts out. Don't waste your time or money. Shame on me for trying to find an easy way out of painting ... turns out the old fashioned way IS the easy way. The "good" reviews are probably employees of Wagner. Seriously, this is worthless.
I would recommend this to an enemy. November 30, 2008 C. Phillips (al) First of all, I only bought this one because of the price, my first mistake. It took a good 30 minutes or more for the paint to reach the roller and another 30 minutes or so for the roller to get enough paint on it to work. It never worked like a normal roller, it took me at least 3 times longer to paint with this than with a regular roller and I am not a pro. It also made a terrible squeaky noise every time the roller went down and up. Also, when I opened my box it didnt have the extention in there as the box said. It obviously was a return before I got it. Needless to say, I am having my husband box it up now and return it and we will try another more expensive one. I guess you get what you pay for. However, I will get my 4 "C" batteries out of it before taking it back!
BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS August 25, 2008 cropduster001 (New Haven, CT) BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS! First of all, the other reviewer is right about this thing taking forever to pump the paint to the roller. The pump is far too inadequate to push paint to the roller and it struggled like it was about to crap-out. It just can't even keep up compared to a regular roller with a paint tray. I did an 8'x30' wall and it took almost 50 minutes (not including set up or clean up), something I could do in 25 minutes with a conventional roller. As for the clean up, it took a half an hour.
The roller is designed specially for this unit and you can't put it on a "spinner" to clean it. You half to keep rinsing it over and over and to clean the hose, you put the siphon end in a bucket of water and keep the water flowing until the water is clear.
Total time (set-up and clean up) to do an 8x35 wall close to two hours. Time with a conventional roller, one hour.
The other reviewer who said "A product that never should have been marketed" is absolutely correct. If you want a decent product, get one of those "Paint Sticks" made by Black & Decker or HomeRight or any other company with a similar product. They do the job much faster a conventional roller and clean up is the same.
I have been in the trades for thirty years and just like anybody, I like to save time whenever I can.
Trust the bad reviews! Anybody giving this a good review either works for Wagner or has not had any experience painting. ~The End!
Not a reliable product January 5, 2008 S. Schauble (Iowa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Terrible product and doesn't save any time. Like other reviewers said, it took 30 minutes for the paint to reach the roller. I was using Behr paint in an eggshell sheen. Then, it was very slow and couldn't keep the roller saturated. I would have to wait for it to re-saturate the roller every few minutes. After a wall and a half, I gave up, tried to start the cleanup process (which was messy and further time-consuming) the pump burned up and died. No, it's not user error like another reviewer suggested. I read the instructions thoroughly, and followed them step-by-step, there's nothing complicated about it. I've never had any item I purchased fail so miserably as this one. It could be a great product if it pumped much faster, but really you only need a power roller if you are doing several rooms in the same color. It doesn't take long to paint one room without mechanical assistance. I lost paint, lost time, and lost gas driving this POS back to the store where I bought it. Incredibly frustrating. Do not buy this product.
