Customer Reviews: Great Perforator February 23, 2009 William H. Hill (Wichita, KS United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had a lot of top of the wall wallpaper border to be removed from a bedroom and bathroom. I discovered that I had to remove border that had been applied over some other border that had been painted over. So I needed to remove two layers of border. I had one of the usual little hand-held wallpaper scorers, but that took a lot of elbow grease, and it would not go all the way through both layers. The Warner perforator worked great because the long handle let me apply pressure to the wall that the little scorer wouldn't, the Warner perforator points are longer and much sharper, and the width of the roller let me perforate a lot of border at one time. The length of the points went all the way through the two borders. I used a steamer on some of it, and Wallwik wallpaper remover on the rest. It was still a lot of work, but the Warner tool made it much easier.
don't buy this tool!! August 9, 2008 JT (VA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This strange looking weapon/tool does not work at all. It barely scratched the surface of our walpaper to score it. Actually it didnt even penetrate the paper at all my husband said. He ended up using the palm held scorer that we purchased years ago from Lowes. So, do yourself a favor and don't order this tool. I'm in the process of asking for a refund. I hope this was helpful.

This is what you want to get the job done fast. It is better that the small wheel type preforators. It is about 8 inches wide and 24 inches handel and all. It works.
