Product Description Can't decide between the XT and MX edgers? This kit saves money and includes BOTH edgers for one low price.
Make your painting jobs quicker, more professional looking, and less frustrating. New Painting system allows you to paint the edges of a wall and around trim without using masking tape and without getting onto a ladder.
Rollers are washable and reusable. Small microbrush technology cuts in a perfect line. Special metal shield keeps paint from reaching the "clean" side of the shield and getting onto the trim. Perfect for edging accent walls, ceilings, crown molding, chair rail, doors, windows, and more.
This deluxe combo kit includes the works! It contains everything you need to get started and to paint an entire house (or more!) You get the XT paint edger (pole mountable), an MX paint edger (helpful if you have a second painter), a paint tray, TWO additional brushes, TWO additional rollers, and a 40" wooden paint pole for painting ceilings.
Thirty day money back guarantee if you use it and are not completely satisfied. 90 day limited manufacturers warranty. Made in China.

Accubrush XT November 20, 2009 Shelley K. Nelson I bought this item for my husband to use in hopes that it would make beautiful "easier" straight lines around the edges of the room and trim. It did not work as well as we were led to believe by watching the sales video. A much cheaper "shur-line" red edger purchased at Home Depot did a better job and we basically wasted our money buying this item.
Accubrush MX November 5, 2009 Dan P. I never write reviews but it's by far the best product I've used for painting. The job was done in a fraction of the time it would take me and no mess on the ceiling at all!! I just purchased it and finished my first coat with it. My wife now finds my painting to meet her standards. :-) I would recommend purchasing it prior to your next paint job. I would think even pros could benefit from this product.
Can't believe how well it worked October 29, 2009 S. Bellomo (Melbourne, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I saw the accubrush in a Google ad when I was searching for a power roller. I clicked on it and watched the video. It seemed too good to be true and felt a little on the pricey side at almost $100. I couldn't believe I found myself buying it.
I'm telling you, it worked EXACTLY as pictured. I couldn't believe how well it worked.
First bit of advice - get this kit over the others. I think it's important to have both the MX and the XT. The XT works great for ceilings on a pole but I didn't like it for door / window frames. The MX works great on door / window frames but I would have had to use the ladder to get the ceiling - so IMO, you need both if you want to do the least amount of work.
Second bit of advice - get plenty of paint on the roller. When they say saturate the roller, they mean it. The only time I had trouble was when I wasn't putting enough paint on the roller.
I have 12 foot ceilings with that popcorn texture. The popcorn texture made using it on a pole a bit harder but it was still much easier than getting up and down a ladder. I edged two large rooms in about an hour. I never even had a chance to get out the power roller that I bought because a buddy just followed me with a normal manual roller.
Their site and videos (and name) have a cheesy informercial feel but the product really works great.
waste of money October 13, 2009 Charles A. Carbone (new york) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
it gets paint on the ceiling. it works around door and window frames. but overall if u want no paint on your ceilings this product does not work. i had to get a pro to fix my ceilings. so i do not recommand like this tool.
Great little painting tool! September 22, 2009 Nathan Phillips (Anchorage, AK, USA) We just painted seven rooms in our house with the Accubrush. I must say that we were very impressed with the results and the ease of use. We made a nice accent wall in the living room, and it did well around the edges. Doors, windows, and baseboards were all easy to do with the Accubrush.
The one tip that I learned from a professional painter is that you will get the best edges if you make sure that the edge is smooth and well prepped. This usually means sanding down any rough edges with a sanding block or wedge. Particularly rough edges can also be caulked with paintable latex caulk, which will help smooth them out. As someone else pointed out, the Accubrush can save a lot of time, but won't do all of the prep work for you.
We purchased both the MX and the XT. We found that you need to be careful not to overload the MX unit, or else the edge won't be as sharp as the brush starts getting loaded up with paint. The XT didn't seem to have any problem when you load it up heavily. I think this is because the XT uses a different, more complex, mechanism to keep the paint off of the shield. The XT actually has a spring loaded metal shield which keeps the paint from migrating from the roller to the outside of the shield. We first tried loading the MX using a screen in our five gallon paint bucket, but later went back to using it in a tray, as it gave us better control over the loading process and helped avoid getting paint onto our hands. The XT, however, loads very well in a five gallon bucket, which is something that professionals would surely appreciate.
I would recommend the Accubrush to novice painters and professionals alike.
