| Customer Reviews: Atomic Bond Putty (apparently called Mighty Putty on TV) October 23, 2009 Joan Frost (Altadena, CA, USA) I am delighted with this product. I had a toilet leak around the base and was told that I had to have a plumber take out the toilet and reseat it. Instead I put the putty around the base, and it has remained leak free for months. Good for all kinds of other sealing jobs, too. I am 80 years old, so you know it is easy to use. I am ordering more. Possibly the reviewer with the acetone didn't knead it for the full 2 minutes, or the acetone interfered with the bond. Joan Frost
Did not fix pipe May 8, 2009 Barely There (Central FL USA) had a leaky pipe. He sanded the joint and cleaned with acetone.
Said the NEW in PACKAGE putty was gritty and did not mix well. so he added acetone.
Bottom line ..it did not repair.
Maybe it was the acetone. I' m just reporting the facts.
We went back with real epoxy...so now we wait.
there isn't anything this can't do November 23, 2008 Dr. Cheryl B. Petersen (New Hampshire) Zounds! this stuff does everything! I was a skeptic at first but I'm now among the converts.
