This picnic blanket is pretty and the polka dot fabric is really soft. However, the waterproof backing is slippery and causes the polka dot lining to slip around quite a bit. The result is that the polka dot fabric bunches up easily and it can be difficult to keep things in place.
We used this blanket with our 4 month old baby and it did not work well because he was constantly moving around and the fabric bunched up into his face.
