| Customer Reviews: Great for wedding receptions! (Huh, you say?) October 16, 2009 Sean P. Setters (Tennessee) I stumbled on a website that showed how you can use the Shur-Line Easy Reach painter's pole, coupled with a Kacey Pole Adapter, as a mobile lighting solution for use at events. It worked fantastically. You put the Kacey Pole Adapter on top of the Shur-Line, and then you attach an umbrella swivel, flash, and wireless triggering device to the top of the adapter. I even bought the Creative Light 100861 65 cm/ 25-Inch Umbrella (Translucent) umbrella to help soften the light coming from the flash. In the hands of a capable assistant, this lighting solution can provide great results while allowing you to easily move in and out of the crowd.
Best extension pole ever!! September 14, 2009 J. Reinhardt (Orlando, Fl USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am in the pest control industry and purchased these poles for our techs to use in cob web removal. We have used many poles in the past and have never found one as compact, strong and user friedly. The pole goes from just under 4ft to a lengnth of 9ft and locks in at 6inch increments in between. They have a nice foam handle that if comfortable for extended use. I recommend these for anyone who is looking for a quality extension pole at a fair price.
This thing is awesome! July 12, 2009 P. Novak 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this pole to paint a tall stairway, hoping to avoid having to buy a special ladder to do it. This pole allowed me to do that and more! I had to repair the wall to ceiling tape joint before I started painting. Using this pole with a brush holder I was able to put a taping knife on the end and place the new tape, and mud. It worked better than I could have hoped. Painting was a snap as well. The unit is heavier than a broomstick type pole, but very manageable. Both my wife and myself used it with no problems. Adjusting the length is easy and smooth. I can't recommend this enough, I wish I had found it earlier.
Buy it! June 9, 2009 Beantown 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you paint with a roller, buy this immediately. It's very handy and comfortable to use. The foam handle and large grip make it much easier to hold especially if you're painting for long periods of time. Length adjustments take less than a second. If there's such a thing as making rolling paint more fun, this does it. It's a luxury but so what. You wouldn't be looking at this if you were happy with your broomstick.
Perfect sharky stick for removal of high bandit signs. July 31, 2008 Sign_Shark 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This review is for anyone who wants to remove illegal signs placed high on poles.
This is the PERFECT shark stick for removing illegal signs posted high up on poles. Add the Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw to the end and you're ready to go.
Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw
It will easily fit in your trunk, so you can keep it with you at all times. Extension is easy and you'll look like a pro! No more loosening and tightening clamps to extend your telescoping pole. JUST PUSH A BUTTON!
At full extension, it's not the best tool for thwacking a sign down, but with the Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw attached, it cuts right through corplast signs quickly and easily. (I would rather take a sign down by cutting rather than whacking anyway.)
If you like taking down signs, but always had trouble with the expo signs posted way up high (Gun Expo, Tattoo Expo, Reptile Expo, etc.), this is the ultimate combo for you! Those signs are mounted on wooden stakes and then are taped high up on poles. This cuts right through the tape and drops the signs in seconds! (Just be careful not to drop signs onto nearby cars, especially on windy days.)
Beautify your city. Help remove roadside street spam. This telescoping pole is your perfect tool (along with the Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw attached to the end of it). This combo and a box cutter for low signs is all you need!
