Product Description Kids will "bee" happy as they try to dodge the dizzy bee with a hop, skip or a jump. The motorized beehive spins the whimsical bee to the familiar song "Flight of the Bumblebee" and silly sounds, encouraging kids to get active as they play this creative game of keep-away. Kids can flee the bee - or chase after him. The 26" motorized arm spins at two different speeds to help kids develop coordination as they hop, skip and jump their way through this game of laugh-out-loud play. And while kids are focused on having fun, they'll also get to practice taking turns with their playmates. Includes beehive, two connector rods, honeybee and instructions. Requires 3 "C" batteries, not included.

Still fun after a year. October 29, 2009 Beeslersmom (Maumee, OH) We have owned this toy for over a year now, and the kids (now 4 & 2) still love it. They chase the bee and jump over the bee. They enjoy this toy more than I could have imagined. It does run on our berber carpet, but not on our plush carpet. We also have plenty of room on the kitchen floor as well. We recently had a playdate and even the two friends loved this toy. It really was a great buy for the kids.
Lots of fun with potential for learning if you're creative! September 2, 2009 Donna L. Thorne (Alexandria, VA United States) I set this up for my 3 year old one morning and it literally ran all day long. It may appear to be simplistic. Well, it is. It's just a bug on a stick that goes around and around. But it's an amazing amount of fun. You've got the basic hop over the bee game which is more fun with more people. Get two or three kids trying to jump and there WILL be collisions so extra fun. We've also discovered some interesting educational potential. Besides the basic count how many times you can jump, my son wanted to see what would make it stop. Would a matchbox car stop it? (no) Would his tank stop it? (yes!) Then we had fun putting balls in the path and trying to predict where they would end up as they got shot out of the circle. As a bonus, in order to use this toy, you need a circle of about 4 feet in diameter so toys need to be picked up first! And it's not just good exercise for your child. Play it with them and you WILL get a workout!
Sooo much fun August 18, 2009 Kristine A. Fontana I got this toy on a whim but it was easily the funnest toy my 4yr old got for Christmas. Very durable(4 kids ages 4-9) terrorize this toy on a weekly basis and it has withstood all their rough play. It is now mid August and my daughter still asks to play with this toy all the time. They get very creative in their jumps over the arm and I still laugh watching them being silly. My only complaint, I wish it went a little bit faster for even more of a challenge. Oh well. can't have everything.
HoneyBee Hop quit working July 19, 2009 Sadaz48 HoneyBee Hop worked fine for a while on carpet and hard floors, BUT then the plastic arm and bee would not rotate anymore. I tried new batteries but no change. I then took it apart. The rubber drive belt connected to the motor apparently expanded and loosened and would no longer make the bee move. A pity because it looked well engineered with its' circuit board and gears and whatever. The weak link was the rubber drive belt.
HoneyBee Hop by Hasbro June 27, 2009 Margaret Holland (Ohio) We bought Honey Bee Hop by Hasbro for a three year old. She loves the music and laughs trying to hop over the wand. Grownups have to hop with her, and that makes it even more funfor everyone. It is a good activity toy for young children.
