Product Description Liquid Invisible Stitch: For rips, tears, cuts in just about any type of material. Waterproof and permanent.
We call it Liquid Stitch because this repair adhesive is just like an invisible repair job for rips, cuts, tears, "L" shaped damages, whether large or small.
Just apply Liquid Stitch under the edges, and over the damage spot. Cover with grain paper, and allow to dry. The damaged spot will look almost like new. It will not get larger...you will not notice it.
Liquid Stitch can be used fon any type of canvas, leather and vinyl. And, it's waterproof. Use it to repair tents, leather and vinyl seating, mouldings...just about any flexible surface. That's right... just apply, and let dry. You can make over 100 average sized repairs with Liquid Stitch.

Not for Leather Products October 21, 2009 Michelle Hu (San Francisco) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this because there is a small rip (about 2mm long) on my leather sofa. I don't think this product is good for leather because 1) the applicator is very big, about 1 inch wide, it's not ideal to repair small rips, 2) it turns glossy after it dries (not the shine that leather has), making the repair very apparent, and 3) the consistency of the liquid is more like melted plastic, making it difficult to apply precisely with the fat applicator.
However, I think this would be a great product if you're using it to repair other household items that don't care for eye appeal (outdoor patio umbrella, etc).
awful October 17, 2009 dark star (New York, NY United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Awful product. Lots of fumes. Brush arrived bent in can. Very goopy and hard to use product. Once you put it on, you cant move it around or it gums up. Maybe ok if you want to repair a car seat or a leather/vinyl couch and you dont care what it looks like, but dont use this on a leather jacket, shoes, purse, etc. I am very disappointed in this product. Made my jacket - which just had a small underarm tear, much worse!
Great cheap solution for repair October 16, 2009 Christopher A. Lee (Portland, ME) Great product, worked well... Not high end high quality repair, but a great solution for the price.
Effective stuff, much better than I expected. October 6, 2009 Freddie Mercury (Wisconsin, USA) I bought this to repair our leather couch, specifically two tears from our beloved Fido (real name of dog withheld to protect identity). To be honest, I bought this because it was inexpensive and might work without throwing fifty dollars at something else.
It worked great! I am surprised how it held the tear together and looks pretty seemless. I am very happy with the results. The only drawback is that it leaves a mild shine to the spot.
The stuff smells like rubber cement and you do not want to do this in a tiny enclosed space.
Overall, I am very, very happy with the results. An excellent value for the price.
May Not Be What You Want September 30, 2009 Evergreen (Seattle, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this to repair a recliner and it did not work well. The "grain paper" mentioned in the product description was not included, and worse, once you get the product it informs you in big black letters "Will not work on older, hard, or cracked vinyl." Be warned!
