If you purchase the actual Honeywell 38002 Enviracare Universal Replacement Pre-Filter directly from Amazon, you'll be pleased. These are the same pre-filters that are available in retail stores. Unfortunately, they aren't available any longer where we live. So we order them and save money to boot as well as shipping if you qualify your order for Amazon's Super Saver shipping option (just as fast as any other shipping in our experience).

This is just a big sheet of pre-filter material that you cut to fit your type of air cleaner. Sheet has score lines for the width of one air filter element and you cut along the lines for however many your air cleaner stacks up. Carbon dust falls out as you cut so do this someplace you can clean up easily. Amazon has the best price on this filter.
