Also includes chopping and dough blades. Exclusive how-to video offers tips and techniques. Easy to clean, with dishwasher-safe parts.
Amazon.com Review A perfect gift for new homemakers, the food processor has become an integral part of modern cooking, speeding up a multitude of processes, including kneading dough, slicing, chopping, shredding cheese, vegetables and meat, mincing garlic and parsley, mixing batters, and emulsifying mayonnaise. Cuisinart's Pro Classic comes with a 7-cup work bowl, four basic attachments for slicing, shredding, chopping, mixing, and kneading, and also features two feed tube options, one big enough to handle a whole potato. This processor comes with a compact cover for use when the feed tube isn't needed and a pulse control that allows the desired degree of fineness when chopping and puréeing. Remove the detachable stem for compact storage of discs. All the parts are dishwasher-safe and the motor base wipes clean. In addition, a custom-contoured spatula, a 50-page recipe booklet, and a 30-minute video designed to familiarize the new owner with the care and use of the food processor are included. --Victoria Jenkins

7 Cup Cuisinart November 16, 2009 M. Meier (West Texas) Love this little machine, and would not want to be without at least one in the kitchen.
Cuisinart 7 cup food processor November 16, 2009 happytheman Other than what I consider a design flaw with the plunger (cannot completely take apart for cleaning) this product is wonderful. Great value.
Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic 7-Cup Food Processor November 13, 2009 Virginia M. Shilt (USA) This is an almost identical replacement for a DLC-10 processor that we wore out after years of use. The feature that I especially like about this one is the additional "flat-top" cover to use in lieu of the big, gadgety tube with sleeve cover. The simple lines of the flat-top make it easy to clean quickly and have it ready for immediate use. I prefer a hand mixed pie crust but I've used the food processor for many, many batches of bisquits, grated cheeses and carrots, smoothing lumpy sauces, etc. It's an essential, frequently, almost daily, used appliance in my kitchen.
LOVE IT LOVE LOVE IT... November 13, 2009 John C. Wells (Seattle) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
... So why don't you marry it!? Okay I will! I will happily wed my new food processor, (though I'm sure that it is not yet legal in even one state to pledge matrimony to kitchen ware) and we will live a blissful life together. It will be hummus and fluffy omelets, cakes and muffins, salsa and nut butters, until that sad day when I shed this mortal coil, or until my Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic 7 cup food processor fails to an unmendable degree. But given its sturdy construction and stalwart reputation I just cant visualize a scenario where a transitory, organic being such as myself would outlast an appliance of this caliber.
Ah such is the plight of real love; so strong yet so temporal.
Like a charm! November 12, 2009 Old Raider Fan (Florida) Not a lot of accessories/blades but this product does quite well with the blades provided
