It seems that we buy plug-in air filters and then the store stops selling the replacement filters a few months later!! These really work great-we have them where our cat litter box is and you cannot tell we have cats (unless you look!) Our house has a smoker, 4 small dogs and we burn candles. We need to replace filters every 6+ months. The units still work fine after 3 years but, they are small and only plug into out of the way receptacles.
