Great Product November 6, 2009 D. Asher (Kentucky) I use this to clean out my water garden, fish pond, and it does a great job in picking up the decayed leaves, particles, etc. The pump is also quite powerful and removes the water quickly. Very Pleased!
Wayne Sub pump October 7, 2009 Dana Hartman I purchased it with a 24' section of 1.25 hose. Pumps a large volume of water. When connected to a 96' section is slowed down as it had a lot of hose to push the water through but still did fine.
I use it to do partial draining of my pool. Works well. Does get a bit warm after running for a couple of hours.
Manf. does not rec. plugging it into an ext cord nor any harsh chemicals to be pumped. I used a 6' HD ext cord and it worked fine.
Great pump. September 28, 2009 SK (Sacramento, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to this to drain water out of my in-ground pool. The first time I used it, I attached a 3/4" garden hose. It worked pretty well with good flow, but I had a feeling it could be better. I went to the big box home store and bought the proper drain hose and now it pumps out water like a mofo. After removing the pump, it was warm to the touch, but I had it going for about 6 hours. Don't waste time with the smaller pumps; I thought this would have too much flow, but I was just right. The rated flow is under perfect conditions which I didn't have. I also liked the fact that I was able to order on a Friday and received it on Saturday with my prime membership.
Water pump September 26, 2009 J. Grant (NC) Pump has lots of power and did just what it is supposed to do pump water.
the large diameter hose does work alot more efficiently than a garden hose.
It was more difficult to get the pump and large hose into a small area because of the way the large hose connects to the pump. Both hoses pumped wel
Wayne sump pump 1/2 hp September 21, 2009 Larry L. Yowell (Crosbyton, TX) This small pump was simply amazing and easy to use on my hot tub for drainage purposes. I haighly recommend it.It darined my hot tub so quickly with the help of the flexable discharge hose.
