Only review you need to read October 6, 2008 Edward Lee Mcleod (Charlotte NC) This is my very first review, i hope you like it. I hope it's helpful. If you are the type of person that nothing make you happy, don't buy this product or any products. Use the money to get professional help. You are driving the rest of us crazy. Ok, for the rest of you, I had been hoping that a product like this before I ever knew it existed. We built a new home and had a garden tub installed. Sounded great at the time and for a while it was nice. But soon We regretted not putting in a whirlpool tub. At that point it was to late and would be way to expensive. I found this product and it looked to good to be true. Would it work? Would it be even close to a spa experience? I read the review already posted and figured that except for one persons comments ( the person referred to at the top) even if they had a problem they still listed it as 4 to 5 stars. I took a chance and bought it. I was trying to not get my hopes up, and was looking for it to be just ok. BUY this product! If you use it every day and have to replace it ever year, it would be worth it. At the price you couldn't believe how great it works. It pushes air through at such a rate that you get a real jets feel. Not just bubbles. For the person who said it was to loud must never used a real spa tube. Spa's are loud but this product it not that loud. It tells anyone walking buy, leave me alone. I used bath tub caulk to plug the over flow ( If you do this, do be stupid and walk off and leave it). Next buy a bath pillow. Make the water as hot as you can take it ( once again don't be stupid). As for the size of it. It is made to fit the tube not your body frame. Your tube is not six feet. As for slipping put a rubber flour mat down and it won't slip. Buy it, enjoy it, love it thank me later. If you don't love it refer to the top of the review. Take care

i made my own portable out door spa June 9, 2008 C. white (georgia) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
by using 6 cement blocks, 2x4's cut to the size i wanted, placed tarp over the 2x4's, filled with water and put my spa mat in my large homemade bath tub. i live in south the sun heats water and the amt of water i use is minimal compared to above ground pool. i love my homemade outdoor spa. i put my swim suit on and get a great spa for my hurting back, i put motor blower in storage house if i think it is going to rain. i realize the company does not recommend using spa outdoors but it works great for me.
Bath Mat June 1, 2008 C. Robbins I sent this mat back. It was not comfortable, not long enough and where the heck do you store it when you are done. It took 2 days of draining before I could package it back up. Great place for bacteria to grow. Ugh. Plus if you have a short tub, you can't begin to get covered with water with this sitting in your tub. I guess you get what you pay for.
Loud and tiny, but... April 16, 2008 Hello Lamppost (Portland, OR United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Having read the reviews on Amazon, I was all psyched to get this and have a crazy-great spa experience in my very own bathtub. Well, as it turns out, not so much. First, as others have mentioned, this bath mat is pretty doggone loud - it sounds like a freight train barreling through your bathroom. It's almost comically small, too - it looks and feels like it was made for someone around 4' tall and 85#. Still, it's relaxing, it's pleasant, and in my mind, though I certainly would have liked to have paid less for it, it's worth the money. I can't speak to the ease of getting it in and out of the bathtub as I have sort of permanently installed it in the spare bathroom, and I just leave it there, cleaning it and under it as I clean the tub, but I think that's in part because it doesn't strike me as being terribly easy to remove and store. This mat is nothing fancy and basically just makes lots of roiling bubbles in your bathtub. I haven't noticed it cooling or otherwise affecting the temperature of the water, but it sure helps distribute the water when you add bath products or when you run additional hot or cold water to the tub in an effort to adjust the temperature. It seemed anticlimactic to me at first, but experience has taught me that it really does make the bath feel much more therapeutic and relaxing. When my back is killing me, sometimes a hot bath is the only thing that helps, and this mat has made that even more true. So, I like it. I think it would be more appropriately priced at half of what they're asking for it, but I'm OK with what I paid for it. It helps me. I use it every day, and I'm better off with it than I was without it. All in all, it's a cool little gadget to have.
