This filter appears to remove a high degree of dust and other harmful objects from the air in my house. This is substantiated by the appearance of such objects on the filter fabric when I replace it on a yearly basis. The replacement procedure is a little trying but patience will ultimately win out.

Tedious installation involves fitting each of the many pleats of the accordion filter into the guides in the housing. Annoying, but a characteristic of the machine and not the medium. This is a filter, and it seems to work.
