These are NOT the genuine Carrier/Bryant filters, but a knock-off. These do not come with the foam sealing strip, which the Carrier filters do. I had to go to the hardware store to buy weatherstripping for this purpose. As a result, these filters and weatherstripping cost more than the genuine filters would have. However, these filters appear to be reasonably made. I will buy the "real deal" next time.

I was expecting a genuine Carrier filter; the 2 pack I received did not appear to be genuine Carrier parts. There were no Carrier markings on the filters and the design was differnt than the Genuine one these replaced. I expected genuine filters since the AMAZON page read "Other products by Carrier" and "Product Features: Carrier MACPAK16". FYI I ordered the 16x25x5 MERV 8 Carrier Replacement Filter (2 Pack).
