I have purchased filters for the aprilaire filter system in our new home locally before but the packaging was different (maybe a different manufacturer?). This filter had very clear instructions. I could've used that the first time I changed it after moving into a home that had the aprilaire filter system. Very easy product to install and came with stickers to mark the next change date on the cover.

These replacement filters are the same as I would purchase from a HVAC but at a lower price. This was a good value. We run our blower constantly to filter our air and Aprilaire does a good job of it. It also makes the temperature in the whole house more uniform.

Comes with clear instructions on how to replace the filter. It's a 5 minutes job if you do it for the first time. Take your time to not break any plastic part because the box only contains the filter, no replacement for broken plastic parts.

I have used this product in three different homes over approximately 25 years.It was originally recommended by a physician to help with a child's allergy issues. It was effective and helped the rest of the family with allergy symptoms. It also kept the house remarkably dust free. Now, the children are all gone and we still would not be without these. Our house is clean, when pollen or ragweed are prevalent the house is a refuge, and we are very happy we've continued with these filters. They are easy to replace, last longer than the six months some advocate to change, and are not expensive. I think they've actually declined in price over the years but I'm not that certain. A bargain!
