We have two of these lids and I highly recommend them for anyone with small children. The lid does not close slowly and quietly, but the seats do. My daughter just turned two and she has been able to sit on this seat for months now. The other day she tried to turn and fell back while sitting on the seat, but was fine because she can't fall through and the seat doesn't slip. It is also easy for my son to put up and down when he uses the toilet. VERY easy to clean. Just make sure you get it fastened on as tightly as possible.

This is a great product that has helped our potty-trainee graduate from diapers to "big girl". Not to mention the convience it's been for me not to have to clean traditional a training potty every time she goes. Worth the investment!

This toilet seat is a little pricey, but worth every penny! Potty seats that just sit on top of the toilet seat don't fit well on an elongated toilet. And I hate how they drip all over when you take them on and off. This keeps the mess where it belongs... in the toilet! The toddler seat portion is cleverly designed to contain messes. The inside edge curves down into the toilet. I had bought a similar seat at Target for my non-elongated toilet. But since the inside edge didn't curve down like this one, my son would pee out the front of it and get the back of his pants wet. Can't tell you how much dirty laundry this Kohler seat has saved me. And the Amazon price is the best price on the internet.

This is the best toilet seat on the market for families with small kids - especially those that are toilet training. You don't need an extra seat for them and most of those portable ones move around too much and are such a mess to clean. I don't understand why the baby stores and home building supply stores don't carry these - they would make a fortune! I've already had several people ask where I got this toilet seat. Very easy to install and clean.

This is definitely the best option for a small toddler who is potty trained. Our daughter is tiny and has been potty trained since age 1 1/2 and we've never found anything quite as convenient. She loves that she won't fall in and can climb onto the toilet without the baby seat falling off the toilet. And, with this seat, we don't have the problem of having to wash off misdirected pee as we had to with the portable seats. The quiet close function on the toddler ring is a great asset. The funny thing about the seat is that I'm just over 5 feet and I can even use it with the small ring on. Very convenient for all.
