Great faucet April 23, 2008

I only decided to write this review after noting other Price Pfister kitchen faucets were getting negative reviews. I love this faucet, though I probably wouldn't love it as much if I bought it here. I picked this up for $70 on the 'Bay. We needed a new faucet because the one that came with the house was falling apart. We're considering remodeling the kitchen in the next 2 years, so I really wanted something cheap that didn't look cheap, that I'd only use for the interim. I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is.
The sprayer is like a power washer. And it can be used when running only a light stream of water. I noted the other reviews were complaining specifically about the sprayer...this model doesn't have that problem. And because this ticks me off about other people's sprayers, it doesn't have a delayed release. I don't know if it's because other people have food stuck in their sprayers or what; even some new, clean looking sprayers have a slight delay, causing water to splash outside of the sink.
The soap dispenser works wonderfully. In fact, I didn't originally want a soap dispenser, but it's changed my mind. Refilling it is a breeze, and there are no leaks. My only complaint is that there isn't a way to know when you've reached the top when refilling, so I always spill over.
It's all solid construction. It's heavy - you'd never think so looking at it. It was also easy to install. Definitely recommend.
