Product is great! I'm 6"2" and have been bending over in the shower for over 30 years -- no more! I worried that being higher up would make it more likely to get water spray outside of the shower, but it doesn't really happen. For you big boys out there, buy this now!!!

We bought 2 of these adjustable arms for the new custom shower we were building. My husband is handicapped and we built a custom bench for him to sit on in the shower. We didn't want the look of a traditional handicapped shower head and wanted something that would be appealing whenever we sell the house. My husband also wanted something that would bring the shower head closer to him without having to get the kind of shower head that has a cord. We have my husband's shower head adjusted down so it's in the perfect spot for him. My shower head is adjusted up. They are working perfectly and we've received many compliments on them!
Easily Adjustable AND Holds Solidly In Place August 11, 2009

I highly recommend this product, it performs exactly as advertised. It is rare to find a tool that is easy to adjust by hand but still strong enough to hold in place - but this extension arm works. The two of us that use the shower have different height preferences so it gets adjusted almost daily, and it only takes a few seconds to loosen, adjust, then tighten.
Very good buy, very good value. Oh, and for anyone that is still using a showerhead that sticks out from the wall rather than getting one of these and hooking a rainfall showerhead up to it...what are you waiting for?!? Once you have a rainfall type shower, you'll never go back!!!

I had exactly the same experience as another reviewer - bought a "Danco" brand shower arm at Home Depot and it turned out to be a flimsy piece of junk that immediately bent at both ends. I returned that and got this "Danze" one instead. This "Danze" model is also made in China and costs more but it's about twice as heavy, ten times as sturdy, and works as advertised. The package does include a small roll of Teflon tape, which is a nice touch.
