Love the No Taste November 16, 2009 B. Ross (California USA) I replaced my brita pitcher with this PUR pitcher with the stage 2 filter. The Pur 2 stage filter makes perfect clean, great tasting water. The filter seems to last a long time since I can't remember when I purchased it but I know it has been over 2 months and I fill the pitcher at least 3 times a day and usually more. My coffee taste great with PUR clean water and the pets get filtered water too. Make sure your refrigerator has a filter if you use an ice-maker. Unfiltered ice-cubes can ruin the taste and some could be blaming the Pur when it's actually the ice cubes ruining the taste. Overall I love the Pur and am saving a bundle over bottled water and all those bottle deposits and don't have bags of empty bottles waiting to be recycled. Plus I don't have to carry in those heavy cases of water. Now I just use the Brita for an extra pitcher in the frig and fill it with water from my PUR .
WOW! I just love this pitcher! October 29, 2009 J. Arena (Williamsburg, VA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
For years, I've been lugging bottles of water (mostly distilled) so that I can avoid weird water tastes, cloudy water and mystery pollution floating in it. Well, I guess I'm about to miss out on all those great work-outs I've been doing. There'll be no more heavy lifting for me or squandering tons of money (it really adds up!) on bottled water. I can also congratulate myself on sparing the environment all those plastic jugs in the trash.
PUR CR-600 2 Stage Oval Water Pitcher is excellent, efficient and cost-effective. The pitcher, itself, is quite sturdy. I've been using this pitcher for weeks now, and I'm certain that it will last a good long time. I highly recommend it and only wish I had purchased one years ago!
Pur Water Filter October 20, 2009 A. M. Nelsen (San Diego) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Decent filter, inexpensive. Water in San Diego has lots of "interesting" flavors and the filter gets rid of most of them.
PUR Water Pitcher October 12, 2009 Dan Pierce (Minnetonka, MN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to use at my desk at work. I fill up the top with crushed ice and then add about 16 ounces of water and let it melt and filter through to make somewhat cool water. But the water seems to filter through this too quickly and I usually have to pour the filtered water into a glass and then pour it back into the top to be filtered again before it tastes good. I also have the larger size that sits in the fridge and I think it does a better job of filtering even though it uses the same filters as this pitcher.
It arrived cracked and so it leaked water October 5, 2009 Richard G. Newton (Centerville, UT United States) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'd of sent it back but it was easier to simply replace it at Wall-Mart
