Amazon.com Product Description Provide dependable support for your planer while keeping it mobile using the DeWalt DW7350 Planer Stand with Integrated Base. This set-up features strong, reliable, heavy-gauge steel brackets that are capable of supporting even the bulkiest bench top planers, and a medium-density fiberboard top that is predrilled for easy installation of any DeWalt planer. If your planer doesn't line up with the existing holes, it's easy to drill new holes to accommodate it. Perhaps the most innovative feature of this set-up is the wheel set, which can be engaged or disengaged using a foot pedal for instant portability or secure work. This DeWalt high-performance industrial tool is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.

Planer Stand Good Addition November 13, 2009 Campy Kid (Lancaster, PA) I found this stand an excellent addition to the DW734 planer. It requires about an hour to assemble, but instructions are complete and all the parts fit. The stand is very stable and compact and contains the vibration of the operating planer well. It allows the planer to be easily moved around the shop, an important feature to me with my limited shop space. Amazon shipping was prompt and on time. Everything considered, this was a good purchase for me.
Great stand, awkward wheel lock October 5, 2009 K. Peterson (Cold Spring, MN) Good sturdy stand--very solid. Slightly complicated to assemble as the directions don't give a lot of guidance. The pedal that you step on to raise or lower the wheels is in an incredibly awkward place. You can install it either inside the frame or outside. If you choose outside, the pedal will stick out really far and you will trip on it and snag every cord you ever use on it. If you choose to mount it on the inside, you have to contort your body a bit to get your foot under there to push it down and lift it up. The stand is great for its purpose and I would reccommend it, but the pedal was poorly designed.
DeWalt planer stand July 4, 2009 W. D. Boxmeyer (Beaufort, NC USA) Overall this stand does just what it is supposed to, hold the planer. The assembled stand is robust and provides a vibration free platform. I would have liked to see the top plate a bit thicker, but it does seem to do the job. All of the sheet metal parts fit together well are nicely painted and have no sharp edges. The problem is with the assembly instructions. Treat them more or less as a guide instead of a detailed set of steps.
The best way to put this thing together is to look at the picture of the finished product and use a bit of common sense. You will need both a 13 mm wrench and socket with an extension. Start by bolting the locking wheel assembly to the base; make sure that the cutout side is up. Don't go crazy when you tighten the two bolts or you will distort the metal tube frame. Next add the two other wheels and brackets. Do not put the bolts in the brackets that are closest to the ends of the frame, they will hold the uprights as well as the bracket.
Assemble everything else apart from the base and the table. Do NOT tighten the bolts. Place the completed frame assembly on the base, install the bolts, jiggle the whole thing to get it square and then tighten all of the bolts. Once the frame and base are secure, add the table on the top. You are done, mount the planer on the top and go to work.
Strongly recommended for the DeWalt planers. If it were not for the assembly instructions, I would give this product five starts.
A truly back saving purchase! June 29, 2009 AWB (Mead, WA) I ordered this this table for my husband; what a back-saving purchase. He no longer has to risk another trip to the O.R. (which would be for his third back surgery) because he has to lift his planer to use it. - A great alternate use of use of health care dollars!
Modile Base June 27, 2009 A. C. Vlaardingerbroek (Utah) I personally would like to see the table taller but that's my call. The two wheels are on the outside which I keep running into everything, bad driver. Wish they were on the inside of the base and I may move them there, redesign. The instructions on how to put it together are not good, I write procedures and these are bad. Just find a good picture and assemble. I do like the steering wheel, a plus. Over all it does a good job.
