Needed extension November 26, 2008 SJR (AZ) The added extension really helps you keep the wood flat going in/out of the planer. Nice setup - easy to install, spring pins make them easy to take off, or just fold up.
Useful but falls short of mark. November 16, 2008 D. Novak (Chicagoland) The infeed / outfeed tables attach easily to the DeWalt DW735 planer, but you must install them before you bolt the planer down to the table. I didn't. ;-) That's not a complaint, but a note to future purchasers. The tables fold up out of the way easily, and can be easily removed and reinstalled, once the mounting studs have been installed in the planer base. The tables are useful as work supports, but they do not lie in the same plane as the planer's cast iron base. They droop a little, meaning they do not provide the protection against snipe, that I had hoped they would. I think they can be modified, with a couple of jack screws to better support the tables, aligning them with the planer base. One more thing to do.
De Walt Planner Extension Tables September 1, 2008 J. Abbott (Ohio) The parts I ordered arrived on time and the assmbly was quick and easy. Great product and great service.
Over priced... should have been included July 18, 2008 Turbo (Augusta, GA) Like other review I expect a bit more for $50... and item that should have been included. The front table folds straight up but nothing is going to hold it there, rear table will only fold up to maybe 45degrees due to the table does not stick out from the rear as it does from the front. I'm planning on taking mine off during storage OR while in transport, they are very easy to remove which is nice.
folding table for DW735 planer June 24, 2008 John Dorough 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The product is fine, and is needed for the planer. The aggravation is that it is such a necessary component that it should have been included by DeWalt as part of the planer package.
