| Customer Reviews: Just OK September 14, 2009 E. R. Newkirk Works great, just not designed the best. The big commercial jobs work much better but also cost a lot more. This one worked great for cutting holes in Pro Panes 16 ga.

What a fabulous little tool. I had two 4'x8' sheets of 18 ga epoxy-painted steel to cut into six pieces. The local sheet metal shop was reluctant to touch it for fear of damaging the paint, bending rather than shearing, blah, blah, blah... I cut approx 38 lineal feet with this tool pretty quickly, saved $$ having someone else do it and got a neat little tool besides. Works great against a 1/4" straight edge. The tool did leave a small line in the painted suface, but that can be touched up easily. Best to have as much air (cfm) as possible. My compressor at 6.9 cfm was below the recommended 7.8 cfm and so I stopped from time to time to let the compressor catch up. Best to wear a latex glove on the hand holding the tool to avoid oil residue from the exhaust getting on your hand. Also, I was using small pieces of masking tape for marking the ends of the cuts...best to remove these before cutting through tape as it may cause the chips to ball up rather than freely fall out.
Good Value for performance August 19, 2008 Jammy L. Bryan 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Nibbler performs great untill you get to the transmission hump or the flutes on the floor boards. This is when a die grinder comes in handy.
Working on a 95 Jeep Cherokee XJ Pass. side floor board.Removed from a doner jeep.
Cuts Strait and even, Leaves little chads behind for easy clean up.
Over all it is a great deal for the $.
Just use a little common sense while you are cutting and you won't brake a Cutter Head or Die, It will slowly get dull.

Pnuematic Nibbler November 18, 2006 John Ordowich 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I used the nibbler on 22 gauge 304 stainless. The sheet was embossed with a tread plate. For the most part the tool performed well. However performance dropped if the compressor dropped below 150 psi constant. Nibbler heads wore quickly however stainless is not a soft material.
The tool was used to cut out a backsplash for uour kitchen. I purchased 5 additional nibbler dies to complete job. The tool did the job and it was of reasonable cost even with the purchase of additional dies ($10 each).
