I purchased the Power Wrench after seeing it in a "What's New" section of a magazine. It has grown to be my favorite tool in my tool box.
Before this tool, when I had to tighten screws in tight spaces I've used little stubby screw drivers. But with the Phillips head attachment, I find the Power Wrench works every where the stubby screw drivers were. Not only does it work, it works better. It takes less time and has less hand fatigue.
I started out using it is a pretty specialized application, but now I use it to drive everything from screws, nuts and hex screws (putting together Ikea furniture was never easier).
It has two modes. The Power Wrench mode, where you pull the trigger and it engages the motor. It works by ratcheting a small metal piece in the head back and forth. It is fairly noisy but it provides more power than you would expect a 7.2V tool to provide. It can also be used as a manual wrench. I really like that when the battery is too low to drive something, you still can use it.
The Power Wrench bundle is just a starter if you are going to use it often. Any 1/4" socket or tool will fit onto the end of it. I've bought little wrench and socket sets (both metric and standard) to extend the functionality along with a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter. Paired with my larger socket set, sometimes I break lose nuts and the use the Power Wrench with the 3/8" adapter where I would normally be removing it with my fingers.
I've given several of these as gifts and recommend them to everyone.

I use this wrench everyday for hard to get spots under dashboards and around engines.
You aren`t going to break any bolts loose with it, but it saves a lot of cranking with a ratchet.
Definately worth the price.

I purchased this wrench for my husband. He was sulking because his favorite little wrench no longer worked. He used it a lot, especially to manuever in small spaces. He had a project coming up where he wished he had his little wrench to make the job easier and professional. He does AC repair and he is a stickler for perfection, because he says his customers deserve to get quality work for the money they spend. He was a happy camper when the package arrived. It's amazing how tools make a man happy. I had never ordered anything from Amazon so I was not sure if this would be the same quality wrench as he previously had. However, I thought what the heck, it was worth taking a chance based on the price. I was pleased with the process and the merchandise. I was sent an email informing me of the status of my order. I do plan to utilize the service again for future needs. Have a great day everybody.
Skill 7.2V power wrench September 23, 2009
1 time quonset guy
Purchased 2 wrenches to aid in assembly of a quonset type building. The building is assembled with metal ribs - with each rib consisting of 6 panels and held together with 60 bolts. This is before the ribs are raised and bolted together which consists of another 60 bolts. The wrench is almost perfect for the task. It stops just short of required 8 pounds torgue and gives you decent battery time. I don't think any cordless tool would be perfect for this job. It would be nice if the batteries would last for 8 hours, they don't. If used continually (with slight torque) it is good for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If left in the sun the battery drains fast. Battery does not seem to recharge until it is completely drained. Recharge time seems to be around 3 hours. For the price it is excellent bang for buck compared to units (I have not used) priced over $100.

I actually received this as a free item when I bought a set of Bosch Icon wipers and like it so much that I'm buying 2 more as Christmas gifts for my brother and father. This tool isn't designed to break off bolts when working on your car, but for general use it's great! I've actually have used it when replacing the starter on my car though. There was very limited space to get the bolts off so I broke them lose with my 3/8" wrench and used the Skil wrench to get them the rest of the way out and to get them started when putting them back in. It's not like a drill in which the power is delivered steady, it's more like an impact wrench where the power is delivered in very quick bursts.
All in all, it's a very well built tool, feels solid and is a good size. If they made something like this as a 3/8" drive and maybe bump it to 18v, it would be as good as gold for someone like me :)
