This light is awesome! I have never had a higher end flashlight before, always had mini maglights and prior to this was carrying a little aluminum Coleman light around (I have no problem with either of these, both fine lights). My brother ordered a Fenix flashlight and I was so impressed with the power coming from such a small light. I also loved the feel of it, really solid. So I ordered a couple. This TK10 is so bright I'm scared to look into it. I'm not sure it would do any real damage but it's bright enough I don't want to find out. I like the simplicity of it, there are only two settings and you switch from low to high by turning the head slightly. The low setting is plenty of light, the high setting is almost like flipping a light switch on. It's small enough to fit in a jacket pocket but I wouldn't want to carry it in pants pockets. Cargo pants would be fine. I may buy a smaller Fenix light like the LD20 I bought for my wife for daily carry in warmer weather. But so far I am very happy with this light.
On a side note, if anyone reading this has mounted it to a weapon I'd like to know what size mount you used. I am thinking a 1" will work but I haven't purchased yet.

I've got nothing but praise for this light. Don't be put off because it's made in China, there appears to be high quality control standards, no metallurgy problems, no fitment issues, etc. It's well made, very solid and runs well. Tactical tail switch works properly, and it's "simple" enough for me (several other flashlights in this category have multiple light options, but I'm a simple guy) - this one has a "high" and a "low" beam - accessed by a slight twist of the head. This is my bedside tactical flashlight, and gets used in low-light handgun drills (ex-military, not a cop). Comes with a nylon/velcro belt case, but will fit in various open-topped hard cases if you're a professional and need to bring it into service faster. I use rechargeable CR123's in it, bought 4 and a charger and cycle them through occassionaly. My only personal "con" is that I generally prefer (and have used, in tactical situations) small plastic flashlights, as (for a variety of reasons) they invariably end up in my mouth - and metal ones chip my teeth...so I generally carry a small Pelican as well (used to carry a Mini-Maglite w/duct tape around the end to protect my choppers...). Recommend - if you keep it out of your mouth. It does get hot if you run it continuously.

This flashlight is so bright..it gives a bright direct beam that makes me feel like I am in sunlight..I feel very safe in the dark. It is light and easy to carry and very easy to use...will buy more....

ive had this flashlight for a few months and have no problem with it except for one thing. the button switch isnt recessed and when you carry it in bags it may turn on when the butt hits stuff. also the clip is useless it is a great idea but theres no way you can attach it to you pants cause theres not enough curve at the end to grasp anything. so unless u want to use 2 hands to put it on your pocket i wouldnt recommend it. the sheath it comes with is good quality and can be attached to you belt very easily cause it is velcro. the flashlight is very well made thick body that can take a beating. it is hard to scratch up also. the lense is very tough scratch resistant glass and it waterproof to IPX-8 standards meaning you can dunk it in a few feet of water and it will not leak, would not recommend using as a dive light cause it is not designed for that and is only waterproof to a certain depth. as for light output im not sure it really goes 200 meters but it can shoot a beam very far and is very bright here is what comes in the box: fenix tk10 (of course) 1 big oring, 1 small oring, 4 small allen head screws (for the clip), 1 pocket clip, 1 lanyard, 1 copper colored ring, 1 extra button switch cover (orange),1 small allen wrench, and a carrying case, i really like this light aside from the useless pocket clip and non-recessed button i strongly recommend this flashlight to anyone looking for a very well built heavy duty flashlight for a price they can afford. the reason i didnt give this 5 stars was cause of the pocket clip and switch but other than that A+ quality

Recently, I started looking for a better flashlight than my Maglites of which I own three. I wanted something that was easy to pack and carry for my ECD, too. After some research I picked this flashlight and am I glad I did! I've never even seen a flashlight of any size throw light like this thing! It puts my Maglites to shame. You can't even look at the light it so brilliant! Even when thrown on an object at close range it makes you squint. My daughter and I tested a 3-D cell Maglite against this miniscule handheld and it wasn't even a contest. I highly recommend this flashlight to anyone looking for a high performance handheld torch. It's great!!!
