Perfect For Realistic Recreational Play August 25, 2007

We play across baseball diamonds, with wickets placed between 2nd base and the mound, and out in the grass behind 2nd base. We bowl only from the grass in, to bounce on the infield. This is the only soft practice ball we have found that has a firm raised seam that we can spin and swing. It has realistic bounce on this infield surface (also on just plain grass too), and is good to catch, without risk of injury to the weekend warrior and family player. It also has sufficient mass to torque the bat and make batters pay for their off center hits, unlike the "heavy tennis ball". I HIGHLY recommend this ball for people just getting into the game and looking to play with friends and family. It gives a realistic experience without the pain of injury.
