As expected December 4, 2009 RCD (Oregon) The product works well, but would be better if it could use the household AC. Batteries don't appear to last long.

Excellent Product September 9, 2009 Rick L. Chapel (Tennessee, U.S.A.) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this unit. I have had no problems with it at all since receiving it a month ago. The only thing I would like to see change would be to have it powered by AC, rather than batteries and then have it battery backed. Much better than having a stupid tennis ball hanging from the ceiling!
I love the idea of not hitting the wall anymore September 9, 2009 J. Tarin (San Antonio, TX USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like the product since now it prevents me from hitting the wall. I placed it right were its visible to me. Some of my dislikes are you can't use the Velcro in a garage. Where I live its humid so it just doesn't stay on the wall. I had to mount it on the wall using the screws that were given to me. I also found that right after installing it, the battery was already low. Overall, it serves its purpose.
Confident Parking in...Delicate...Garage August 20, 2009 Beogaurd (Arlington, VA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Our two-car garage accommodates a compact car, motorcycle, and workbench. With an epoxy finnished floor and chair for the dog to sit in, it's like an extension to the interior of our house. The car needs to be parked precisely for the automatic door to close, for us to access a closet in front of the car, and for the motorcycle and shop to have their space. This GE product was easy to install, has a nice design, and works. The 1-2-3 foot setting also works for us: at two feet, we can still access the closet in front of the car and the door can close behind it. (But just in case I also laid down a heavy yellow, commercial parking bumper should anyone miss the GE unit's red warning light.) Works well, nice design.
