Works fine November 1, 2008 Janna Montanna (Southern Nevada, United States) This monitor calibrator works just fine on my 24" iMac. It's very easy to set up and use. I noticed very little change in the colors of my photos on the monitor after I calibrated the monitor, but I guess with the quality of the monitor, that it was pretty well adjusted to begin with.
Good Product October 28, 2008 John Spartan (USA) I did a lot of research before buying a color calibration device. All of them had quite a lot of negative reviews, including the Huey Pro, but I bit the bullet and went with it instead of more expensive devices. I am glad I did. The colors have been spot on and the calibration is easy and takes a small amount of time. Well worth it for the peace of mind that comes from knowing your colors are accurate. My monitor is a 19" flatscreen CRT.
Pantone Huey Pro does what it says, and with ease... October 15, 2008 K. Bellis Although I'd read a number of negative reviews about the Huey Pro before purchasing, I bought on the strength of the Pantone reputation and a good experience with an earlier calibration device, the Eye-one Display LT. I'm using it on a CRT on a Windows XP Pro platform. It installed with no problem and is functioning as expected. The calibration process couldn't be easier and I especially like the ambient light adjustment feature.
Totally Pleased!!!!! October 7, 2008 Jay Kaneshige (Castro Valley, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We just recvd our HueyPro today and installed immediately. In a word: "WOW". I am a graphic designer and had some issues with monitor calibration using the MAC OS monitor calibration application in the past, but I can tell, NO MORE! Our 2 year old Dell UltraSharp LCD monitor shifted after the HueyPro calibration. (The desktop got darker, but photos were lighter? How does that happen?) We opened a couple images we had problems with in the past. And those images came out perfect as the printer's output. Really amazing tool. I had less success with a very old CRT that just lost it's color vibrancy. Obviously time for a new monitor on that MAC! Thanks Pantone!
Very nice... minor problem for mac September 30, 2008 Maicol (Florida) I am a graphic designer and need my monitor to be as well calibrated as possible. I loved the outcome! It looks just like my prints. Easy to install, easy to use. The following comment is mostly for designers that need a very accurate calibration: Minor software problem calibrating the monitor on my iMac. The thing is, to get the best result you need a contrast slider... which you don't have in Mac. You only have the brightness slider. If someone knows a way around this, let us know. Buy it! No way you get this calibration without a calibrating tool like this.
