Amazon.com Product Description
The Juice folds up to a compact, easily transportable 3.2 inches when closed. | Leatherman's Juice Pocket Multitool The Leatherman Juice Xe6 pocket multitool packs 16 powerful, secure and easily accessible implements into little more than 3 inches. With a slightly thicker chassis than the CS4 and KF4, and protected by Thunder Purple anodized aluminum handles, this model really has it all. Along with pliers, wire cutters and four screwdrivers, the XE6 contains a saw, awl and diamond-coated file -- and it provides a choice of straight or serrated knife blades. Serrated scissors, a corkscrew, and a can and bottle opener are also easily accessible, and the lanyard attachment keeps all these tools close at hand. Powerful but still compact, the XE6 will conquer most any task in a flash. Key User Features The integrated scissors are easily accessed with a nail nick, and the regular and hard-wire cutters are simple to lift out with their small notches. For easier removal of a cork, a notched assist is located at the end of the can/bottle opener. All you have to do is twist the corkscrew into a cork, then position the assist so the notch rests on the top edge of the bottle -- then lift the handles. It's as easy as opening a bottle of wine in your own kitchen. The Juice XE6 features both straight and serrated knife blades made of 100-percent high-grade stainless steel. Highly corrosion-resistant, these blades are extremely easy to maintain -- just clean them, dry them, and occasionally re-oil them for years of long life and great service. Great tool with a few issues February 8, 2010 A.J. I already have a CS4 Juice and got this XE6 for my wife. She love the purple color and it fits great in her hand. It has way more tools than she'd ever need, but she liked the color so we got this over the smaller CS4. The CS4 and XE6 have just about everything you could need for small projects around the house. My only issue is the colored plating on my CS4 has come a little loose over time. It's nothing that really impacts the use of the tool but its definitely a little annoying. Also, you have to be careful when using the wine opener as the wine pull is slightly off center and has a tendency to try and bend sideways when opening a bottle of wine. If you don't need all the tools on here (or the purple color) I'd recommend the CS4 due its slightly smaller size. Overall though this is a great tool and highly recommended.
A Serious Contender For The Outdoors September 24, 2009 Inspector Nash Bridges (Baghdad by the Bay) The Swiss Army is known for the corkscrew, but the corkscrew is also awkward & clumsy. Ever try using one? You screw it into the cork - now what? You try to hold the bottle between your legs as you pull? Do you tell your girlfriend to grab the bottle & hold on tight, as you pull with all your might?
The other thing that the Swiss Army is famous for is the scissors. The early Leatherman PST didn't offer scissors. But the scissors on the Leatherman Juice are functional.
A much better tool is now on the market. In my picnic kit, I keep a Leatherman Juice.
While not a serious contender in the do-it-yourself & Mr. Fix-It categories, the Leatherman Juice is perfect for opening wine, opening cans, opening bottles, and cutting fruit & cheese. I also like the file, saw, and serrated blade. And of course, the pliers/wire cutter is something that the Swiss Army just doesn't offer. Now I know that Victorinox now has expanded their line to include multi-tools & one handed knives. But I'm talking about the classic red knife with the toothpick that just isn't sanitary.
Excellent for the kitchen drawer, picnic basket, and lunch box. Get a real full size multi-tool, like a Gerber, SOG, or Leatherman, for your saddle bag, tool box & glove box. And for serious outdoor enthusiast, get a Swiss Army Knife.

Excellent! September 22, 2009 F. Lentz Excellent fit and finish on this Leatherman! I wanted a tool that I could take to the office and wasn't as big as my Leatherman Wave. This one fits the bill! It is perfectly "pocketable". The only gripe (and a minor one at that) is that the philips head screwdriver is difficult to get out without the help of something else. You can get it started with your finger nail, but then need to use another implement to completely open it. I suspect it will work itself looser over time. Aside from that, I highly recommend it!
Great for All Occasions September 17, 2009 Meghan J. Driscoll This is my fourth Juice XE6. I travel a lot and have found this tool useful and even down right crucial- in a variety of situations: from working on a boat to opening up a bottle of wine in the French countryside.
Airports and security check points at museums and galleries are not fans of this utility knife despite the friendly color. I carry it with me constantly.
WASTE OF MONEY September 7, 2009 Tharmes Chiodarelli Cambau (brazil) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I heard good things about leatherman. I even got the Charge TTi and thing it's good (not great).
Then I decided to get the xe6. Man, I regret it very much. I am used to victorinox quality and tought this one would be as good as the victorinox, after all, it's very expensive.
Not only this piece of crap is chinese made but it also fells and looks like some chinese copy!! And it costs 60 bucks plus shipping!!!!!
Many tools you can't open without opening other tools. The awl is blunt and you can't sharpen it because it will cut you even if it's closed. The saw fells like it's going to break just by looking at it.
The main blade looks like a toy blade. The material does not look good.
The only good thing is the pouch. Great for holding a small can of pepper spray.
Overrall a piece of junk I am selling right away and getting another SwissTool.
Sorry leatherman, you did very bad this time.
