| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The color of this amaryllis brings to mind images of a spring apple orchard. The flower size, however, at 8" across, is unlike anything a Red Delicious tree could ever hope to produce. Appleblossom is a top selling amaryllis variety, year in and year out - a well-deserved ranking. White petals, generously feathered in soft pink and highlighted with a lime green throat.

| Customer Reviews: big healthy bulb, grew really well July 5, 2009 Kate Witt (New Mexico, USA) I bought this for my coworker (who does not have a green thumb) and gave it to her after I got it started. (The office is very small and close knit and I drew her name in the gift exchange. In a big office I wouldn't be giving gifts to coworkers, it's just not good business practice.) It was the perfect houseplant for her b/c she only had to take care of it for a few months and then she could throw it out or give it to someone who knows a lot about amaryillis.
She did really well with it, I think it was one of the first plants she's had success with. Last time I saw it (in January) it had two stems of at least four flowers. The color was a lot darker than pictured though, maybe due to low light, maybe due to a mixup at the bulb company. But it grew like crazy, so I would reccommend it to anyone who has a "brown thumb" because it's so easy to take care of. Just put it in a pot about 2" bigger in diameter than the bulb (with soil of course, leaving about a third of the bulb exposed), water it when it's dry, and when you're sure it's done blooming, either throw it out or give it to someone who knows how to rebloom them. It'll only take up a few months of your time, and will be gorgeous in the meantime
