Very Comfortable /well built all around vest. October 17, 2008 Barbara J. Perry (Sun Valley, ID) Using mine daily for about a month now. I'm an electrician in Idaho with wide temperature changes and it easily adjusted to go over my "hoodie" and it's open back stays cool when it heats up. It has ample room for my common hand tools and it way more comfortable than my standard tool belt. It also fits better when moving between 14 1/2" studs as it hugs your sides more. The top pockets work well for wire nuts but it could use a little velcro flap you could close so the nuts don't fall out when you bend over. I feel less tired and my pants aren't constantly slipping down. It's really shines on ladders and gets hung up on things much less than the belt. It's laid out fairly well for electrician's but is not specific to the trade. Mine is just now starting to break in and I'm finding my best spots for the strippers, longnose, linemans and the 14 in 1. so I can grab them blindly. It's not perfect for electricians, not a good place for the fat max for example, but it is the best I've used so far in 30 plus years in the trade. All around a quality product.

This vest is simply awesome . I'm a big guy and the vest fits me well at its outer limits . The web site shows it worn by a average size guy so it should fit just about anybody . The vest is made like a tank and should last for years of hard use . Yet it weighs very little , so even loaded with tools it's very comfortable . Unlike tool belts I find no fatigue after wearing it all day and I'm not spending half my day pulling my pants back up . They did a great job designing this so as to be strong yet have as little material touching you as possible . Thus keeping you cool enough to wear it all year . I got a clip on pouch for extra fastner storage and a clip on hammer holder which I didn't need after all . I thought looking at the picture of the vest that the hammer holder might be to far back . As it turns out it's not . It took about an hour to get used to the hammer holder that comes with it now I love it . There is also a pocket for holding a cordless drill on the left side opposite the hammer holder that I never even noticed until after I got the vest . I really like how everything is tucked in tight to your body . Tool belts tend to stick out away from your sides . That can be bad when working in peoples homes etc. . I also like that everything is up where you can reach it . With tool belts I was always leaning from one side to another digging in the bottom of the pouchs . Bending over isn't even a problem as far as tools falling out . I found it's a good idea to quickly unsnap the lower belt though before bending over all the way . Like I said I'm a big guy . They have a winner with this one I have worn every kind of tool belt and this leaves them all in the dust .
