 Not for smaller shoes November 16, 2008

I purchased this product to better organize my closet space. I wear a size 7 shoe which I feel is pretty average size. Unfortunately most of my dress shoes slip through the bars and I have to put all of those shoes on the bottom rack. This is quite the opposite of what I would have hoped for. Considering this, I do regret the purchase. Otherwise, if you have a lot of tennis shoes and other casual shoes it may work just fine.

I bought this shoe rack because it's expandable and that's what I needed. I'm not incredibly impressed with the overall design, but it was easy and quick to put together. My biggest problem with it is that it doesn't do a good job supporting my shoes since it just provides two steel pipes to put the shoes, which doesn't work with high heels. On top of that, I have a fairly small shoe size and even some of the wedged shoes don't stay on it because the pipes are too far apart and my shoes fall right through. I would say it's best suited for men's shoes, which are all flat and big in length.

Exactly what I wanted--fits about 18 pairs of shoes, took me about 10 minutes to assemble. Faux leather wasn't glued on very well, but if it is in the back of your closet, appearance is not an issue.
