Very useful. Holds on to all the little metal bits that otherwise run and hide while you're working, and stays put so you don't have to fetch the tray to get your nuts/bolts/whatevers. It holds on securely, but not so much so that you're wrestling the tray to get your bolts back, and the tray itself stays solidly in place whether on a magnetic surface or not; set on the tray on a plastic ladder, it sits still and isn't easily displaced, even without the magnetic "grip". I'm going to get one for my brother and my dad-in-law, and my sisters...you get the idea. I'd definitely buy it again!
