The Spin Start system enables engines to be started electrically with your 3/8in. drill, while maintaining the use of the manual starting cord mechanism. Most 3/8in. drills will spin a typical engine over 20 revolutions in 2 seconds. Stubborn engines start easily. Fits all Briggs, Lawn-Boy, and 2 to 6 HP Tecumseh (Sears) vertical engines equipped with a vertical-pull starting cord. Also fits battery-start engines.

One of the greatest little devices to help start a gasoline engine, without having to pull and pull the starter cord until you dislocate your arm. With almost any electric drill, you get the lawn mower, mulcher, snow plow or whatever started in seconds. Needs a good 3/8" or 1/2" drill and your on your way! Works NOT ONLY with vertical shaft motors, but with horizontal shaft motors as well! If you have a multi-speed drill, put the drill on slow speed: 200-400 rpm is best. NOT over 500 rpm and more.
