Customer Reviews: Time between charges substandard December 6, 2009 AlanE (Norfolk, Va.) Just be sure you buy extra batteries if you are doing any type of extended use work. I own several different makes of recharge tools, including Ryobi. This seems to be designed for around the house on/off light/medium usage. When used in that capacity you will be pleased with its performance. If you seek constant/heavy usage you need to buy Dewalt.
Battery Review November 28, 2009 R. Opansky (Baraboo, WI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The battery appears to be all that was advertised. It took a full charge and is working well on my portable tools. I am very satisfied, and will probably purchase another very soon.
Poor quality + doesn't last June 22, 2009 William Abrams (Wilton, CT USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought a cordless drill that came with a flashlight and another tool using this style battery. I took very good care of the battery but it has not lasted as long as batteries of other cordless tools I have owned. I think they must sell the tool at a loss in order for you to keep having to buy batteries for it. It is strange that a replacement battery costs more than I originally paid for the cordless drill and its battery.
Ryobi Battery Pack April 20, 2009 Benedict Ferrante (Las Vegas, Nv.) 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
Heidisdad was correct in saying that a twin pack for the Roybi 18 Volt is cheaper at Home Depot also if I have a problem, I just bring it back, and get a new Battery or Refund. I don't have to wait for lost time in getting mail order batteries. Also I don't have to pay for S&H charges. Also If there is a problem with the mail order Roybi mail order return I have to pay S&H to send it back. Again more lost time, and more of my MONEY spent. I love the Roybi Line of Products. They have served me well for years. Ben Ferrante

Thought I was getting a 2 pack, turned out to be just 1 battery. You can get a 2 pack at Home Depot for less than $50. Go there!!!
