This Hose is better than my old rubber one. June 24, 2008 Mark Beveridge (St. Louis, MO) This hose is sure better than my rubber one, which tended to crack and then fail. After reading the review about this polyurethane air hose in a recent HandyMan magazine, I purchased one and I am very happy that I invested in one.
Good air hose, but watch the fittings January 23, 2007 jfb (Omaha, NE) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a nice hose, but the fittings caught me by surprise. Instead of 1/4" NPT threads, they have 3/8" NPT. I could not find the correct fittings for 3/8" NPT with a 1/4" coupling in Omaha (tried the big boxes, specialty nail shops, etc.). I didn't want to add adapters, so I ordered the correct fittings from McMaster Carr. The hose is light and appears flexible, but I'm hoping that as it ages it uncoils more cleanly. We'll see how it works in the hot weather, that may do the trick.
Great! October 31, 2006 Ken Iisaka (Mill Valley, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I don't know what's up with other reviews complaining about the service, not the product. I got mine in 2 days, and it's great. Reinforced polyurethane is far more durable than rubber, and the fittings are precise and accurate. I expect to use this for the rest of my life.
this is rediculous!! April 11, 2006 still waiting!!!! (new jersey) 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
waiting......... waiting..... waiting some more........ why would this item even be advertised, if it wouldn't be available for several months?????????????/
Two months waiting time is too long September 2, 2005 Liyun Yu (Chapel Hill, NC USA) 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
This item says it is available in 1-2 weeks but I have been waiting it for two months and am still waiting... I was confused each time when I was required to approve the delay again and again... Eventually, I had to get a hose from Lowes to save my project. If you are preparing a project to use this, be prepared for the long delay.
