| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Wolverine Vari-Grind will properly shape and maintain the edge on standard bowl gouges, the modern side grind (also known as the Ellsworth grind, Liam O'Neil, or Irish grind), and the traditional fingernail shape for spindle work detailing. ONEWAY has spent considerable time and effort to develop a system which will consistently produce sharp, repeatable geometries on turning tools for the wood turner. Three tools that are very popular and useful are the fingernail shape, the traditional bowl gouge and the side grind configurations. These shapes however are difficult both to grind and to maintain. This single jig will produce every shape from the first mentioned fingernail grind right up to the side grind and everything in between to suit your needs.

Turned most all my gouges into fingernail profiles with this! November 10, 2007 Kevin L. Cradic (Kansas City area) Saved me a lot of money by helping me turn a lot of gouges I didn't use into fluted gouges. I have many spares now as I'm turning and reach for another with super sharp edges often. It's a joy to turn with properly sharpened tools. A light touch up only is needed to get it back in to shape and with this jig you can do it over and over and over again. Quality made with decent welds. I think a person would have to be very aggressive in order to break this jig. It would clearly be abuse if one were to tear anything ONEWAY makes up.
What a great product! September 24, 2007 Michael Dromey (Wichita,Ks) When I first started turning,I sharpened my tools by hand. Once I started using this tool, decreased my sharpening time. I also don't know how I ever made it with out it.
works as advertised May 14, 2007 Sharon (Eureka, mo United States) Not much to say other than it works as advertised. Didn't spend the money for the wolverine jig, just the vari-grind with my home made jig. Works perfectly.
