Introducing the brand new Woodpeckers Drill Press Table. Completely redesigned from the ground up to give you better clamping T-Track, low-friction micro-dot laminate, super durable edge banding and a low price with options to add what you need. It starts with an improved T-Track design. Two double wide T-Tracks are embedded and bolted in place with -20 bolts from underneath. This fastening approach virtually eliminates the possibility of pull out. Each T-Track is then permanently laser engraved with an easy to read, high contrast scale clearly indicating fence position. Once calibrated to your drill press, no further adjustment is needed. Next we improved the fence by using this same double wide track giving you more Stop and accessory mounting options including simple L Stops and Flip Stops. Like the embedded track, the 36 long fence is engraved with a center type scale (zero in the center) making it very easy to use. The fence is firmly locked in place front to back and left to right. Making fence adjustments takes seconds with no tools. The best improvement is the new Micro-Dot laminate. Micro-Dot is a new product in the laminate market that has a unique texture, a grid of small circular pockets that allows saw dust to collect and act as little ball bearings. The .050 thick laminate has a non-glare satin finish that reduces glare and improves the visual alignment of your work piece. The edges of the table are protected with a very durable, high density banding permanently bonded to the MDF core. Each table includes (1) tear-out eliminating filler that can be easily replaced with any thick material and pre-cut fillers (available in 3-Packs). The 16 x 23 x 1 thick Woodpeckers Drill Press Table is designed to fasten to slotted steel tables with coarse thread screws and to T-Slotted tables with large oval nuts. (Slotted table installation requires user drilled, counter bored holes.) Hardware included.

Out of the box, the table had issues. It is not separately wrapped within, so the included clamps and hardware bags had made unsightly indentions in the perimeter edging on one side. Careless? Read on.
I have a 12" Delta, and Woodpecker says that is the minimum size the table is designed for. Problem is that perimeter edging I mentioned above must have been an afterthought, because when they routed the filler plate area and drilled the alignment hole, they did not allow for the thickness of the edging as part of the 6" you need to align this on a 12" drill press. Also, that same center point of where your drill bit should be is not aligned with the zero measurement points on the two outside t-tracks for your sliding fence. This is the worst mistake of the three mentioned.
Woodpecker is selling these on Amazon for $35 less than their own dealers and website offer. This makes sense in a careless kind of way.
Update: I just noticed the price increased $30 on the listing. Glad they're trying to make their dealers happy. Hope they are using my review as a project 'punch list'.
